Stewardship

Stewardship is an ethic or a moral attribute, a life philosophy  that embodies trust and the responsible planning and management of resources on behalf of another (entity)
As a christian, life itself is a trust that has been given to us. Whether it is one talent, two talents or five talents (Matt 25:14-30), we have been entrusted with a responsibility of managing the resources of another. The 'Well done, you upright (honorable, admirable) and faithful servant!' is not a flattery but a goal we should look forward to with eager anticipation.
We are stewards of the Mysteries of God!(1 Cor 4:1)
In view of this it becomes important to share on the Principles of stewardship (Luke 16:10-12)
1. Principle of growth: From little to much (verse 10)
Growth is the progressive increase in size that is measured in height or weight. To be effective stewards in the kingdom of God, we must acknowledge that the things of God go through processes 'First a leaf blade pushes through, then the heads of wheat are formed, and finally the grain ripens' Mark 4:28. If you despise small things (beginnings Zech 4:10) it will not be possible for you to arrive at greatness.
If you can not be trusted with the seedling, you can not manage the harvest! Appreciate and be faithful in smallness because it is the precursor for greatness
2. Principle of values: From worldly wealth to true riches (verse 11)
The ability to acknowledge what is true riches form mammon draws a clear line of distinction between Baalam and Daniel. When Baalam was given rewards by Baalak (Num 22:7 NLT: Balak’s messengers, who were elders of Moab and Midian, set out with money to pay Balaam to place a curse upon Israel) he became so blinded that a beast (donkey) had more sense (vision) than him. He should have chosen true riches and not money! Daniel tells the King "Let your gifts be for yourself and give your rewards to another. However, I will read the writing to the king and make known to him the interpretation" He had what was true riches.
Jesus said that the Body (true riches) is of more value than clothes and life (true riches) is more important than food (Matt 5:25). What you attach more value to becomes your life passion. To get true riches, you must have your values right! Values is about what you consider to be of greater quality!
3. Principle of relations:From someone else’s property to property of your own (verse 12)
The Kingdom of God operates on the basis of relationships. The master declares that 'you should have invested my money with the bankers, and at my coming I would have received what was my own with interest question. The answer of the servant shows that the main problem was his attitude to the master!
Joseph was in-charge of Potipher's house, Got gave him his own. He was faithful with Potipher's wife, God gave him his own!
The ability to be faithful with another man's becomes a seed for your own.

And the door was shut!

Matt 25:10 ....... and those who were prepared went in with him to the marriage feast; and the door was shut.
There is a great searching among believers for open doors. Every believer has an earnest desire to find an open door or an opportunity. It is important to know that although you are looking for open doors, the open doors are also looking for people!
Those who were prepared!  Instead of wasting time looking for open doors, take time and prepare. the following link is interesting http://www.knowledgebase-script.com/demo/article-138.html

Go into the harlot's house and bring out THE WOMAN!

Joshua 6: 22. Then Joshua said to the two men . . . . Go into the HARLOT'S house and from there bring out the WOMAN! The woman is what GOD made and the harlot is what the Devil had done. Looking at JOSHUA 2:1-19 we see some things that brings out the woman out the harlot. 1. She was a woman of faith, HEB. 11: 31. By faith RAHAB, she told the spies we have heard! Word based active faith 2. She knew the power of covenant. A token of scarlet line signifying the blood! The spies made a covenant 'your life for our lives' 3. Consistent. Unless these people stay in the house that has a scarlet thread! Anybody outside is on their own. Keep in the house

The Power of Mentorship!

....And Esther won favor in the sight of all who saw her.
There are two key people in the life of Esther that we cannot overlook as we look at her rise from obscurity to prominence.
  1. Mordecai: He is a mentor who is not shy and gives hard instruction and at times rebukes her in very strong terms. He has her best interest at heart.
  2. Hegai: He is an expert, a eunuch, prepares women without desiring them. Esther listened to Hegai and got the results no other girl got.
Who is your mentor? You can never replace a mentor with a monitor. Look for a real life mentor who like Mordecai and Hegai can bring you to your full manifestation until the King suspends the interviews because he has gotten what he was looking for!

Open My eyes!

Gen 21:19 Then God opened her eyes and she saw a well of water; and she went and filled the [empty] bottle with water and caused the youth to drink.

2 Kings 6:17 Then Elisha prayed, Lord, I pray You, open his eyes that he may see. And the Lord opened the young man's eyes, and he saw, and behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire round about Elisha.

Blind Bartimaeus was sitting on the Highway begging. People were using the same highway as a method to make money. He was sitting on the way, method, design etc to reach his objective but he ws begging.

Hagar was dying of thirst while seated beside a well of water! Gehazi was dying of fear while surrounded by chariots fo fire and horses of fire.

The common problem of these people was in the EYES!!! You can die of thirst next to a well if your eyes have not been opened

Pray with David: Open my eyes, that I may behold wondrous things out of Your law.

Friend, go up higher!

Luke 14:10 But when you are invited, go and recline in the lowest place, so that when your host comes in, he may say to you, Friend, go up higher! Then you will be honored in the presence of all who sit [at table] with you.
THe calling of God to us is that we may go up higher. Yes it is true that you may be lifted by the invitation to His feast! But their is still a lifting higher when:
  1. We humble ourselves
  2. We maintain a relationship with the one who invited us
